Auditions for Mary Poppins JR are Friday & Saturday, September 19-20.
Please read below before signing up for an audition slot for Mary Poppins JR:
Show dates are Friday-Sunday, November 20-23 at Johnson High School. Tech week will take place Monday-Thursday, November 17-19 at Johnson High School.
Rehearsals will take place on Fridays from 5:45-8:30pm at EPAC. We will have a couple of Saturday rehearsals closer to show time, along with some additional weeknight rehearsals for lead characters. Rehearsals will begin Friday, September 26.
There is a $250 production fee per performer that is due by October 15. The production fee covers rehearsals, scripts, costumes, theater rental, technicians, etc.
For auditions, please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your time slot. You will slate your name, age, and the song you will be performing at the beginning of your audition. Please bring a device to play your song track on and have it cued up to the section of the song you would like to sing. Someone will be out front to assist you with this, if you need help. Your audition song selection should be a musical theater/Disney song. Please prepare 45-60 seconds of the song to sing. We will also ask you to read for various characters from the scripts we will provide. The dance portion will be sent to your email 2 days prior to the audition for you to learn at home.
